Arbitus

Arbitus was a ruler of plants. An artist by nature, he loved to create beautiful, living works of art. Owed a debt by the sultan, he came to Agrabah on the appointed day to collect the sultan's most precious treasure. This turned out to be his daughter, Jasmine. Aladdin fought to retrieve her, and killed Arbitus. Jasmine was saddened, for she had realized that Arbitus had not been truly evil, only misunderstood.

Garden of Evil

This was a really splendid, emotional episode. Nice artwork, too. I've heard that it was a tribute to, and was based heavily upon, the story of Beauty and the Beast (not necessarily the Disney version).

	"Your sword may sever every limb, but my power will always bloom!"

Ron Perlman, who played Hellboy, is responsible for Arbitus's deliciously twisted vocalizations.
